City Secretary

The City Secretary’s Office is responsible for the preservation of city records, including but not limited to: minutes, ordinances, resolutions, agendas and other legal city documents.

In addition to keeping city records the City Secretary’s office prepares the City Council agenda and keeps record of and takes minutes of the council meetings and other various commissions. 

The City Secretary's Office is also responsible for all Public Information Act Requests(PIAR). To make a request for open records please complete the PIAR Form and return to the City Secretary via mail, fax, or email. 

The City of Converse contracts with the Bexar County Election Department for our city wide elections.
