Acceptable / Unacceptable MaterialsThe City contracts for a monthly bulk item pick-up of oversized or heavy (65+ pound) items such as furniture, appliances, etc., for our residential customers. The following items are NOT accepted as bulk items: any hazardous items (paint, tires, refrigerants, batteries, lawn mowers, etc.), construction materials (carpet, tiles, concrete, bricks, landscaping rocks, fencing, etc.), and brush any cutting from the trees, shrubs, cactus, palm leaves, tree stumps or similar materials. No TV's, Computers or Glass or toilets. No items for bulk may be placed in any type of garbage bags. No bulk piles may be bigger than 8 cubic yards/216 cubic feet.
Bulk Pick-UpResidents are no longer required to call in order to have items picked up. Please make sure that you have your bulk items out on curbside the Saturday or Sunday before the 3rd full week of the month. Please refer to the Bulk Calendar.
The city is divided into four zones for bulk pick up. See Bulk Zone Map to determine which zone you are in.
